Here I am going to drill you on safety tips, management and safety practices. As well as human and economic reasons for providing a safe and healthy place and systems of work there are also statutory requirements. In order to honour these obligations we must implement an active programme of accident prevention. The engineering workshop is an interesting place even to an apprentice when he observes the necessary rules and conditions, but where there is carelessness shown by the individual, the workshop becomes a terror to him or her. Every day around the whole world, 100s of people die and 1000s of people injured as a result of industrial/workshop accident. From the statistics, it has been proved that the majority of the accidents are caused by individual concerned while some are caused beyond their control.
